About Us

Children and Family Care Services supports children and young people aged 0–18 with diagnosed disabilities who are involved with Disability Social Work teams.

The Flexible Response Role provides parents and carers with direct guidance on safe caregiving, timely support, and interventions to address safeguarding issues and reduce risks.

Staff also deliver home-based care and offer short break opportunities for young people.

 

About the Role

The role will involve you working collaboratively with individual children, young people, and their families to deliver timely support and interventions aimed at addressing safeguarding concerns and mitigating risks to children and young people. Responsibilities may include supporting medical tasks and interventions, for which tailored training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm and a strong commitment to enhancing outcomes for children and young people.

 

About you

You should be reliable, flexible, and adaptable, with a creative approach to working with children and young people with disabilities and their families. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to tailor your style for each individual are essential.
