About Us

The Facilities Management team are a professional and technical team supporting Oxfordshire County Council properties and colleagues across the County. Our purpose is to ensure that Oxfordshire County Council provides safe, compliant and welcoming workspaces for staff, members and visitors. We are responsible for providing the services that enable and support organisational performance.


About the Role

Lead and manage a team to deliver high-quality services aligned with organisational priorities. Responsible for overseeing performance, supporting staff development, and ensuring effective service delivery through planning, coordination, and problem-solving. Work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to implement improvements and drive change. In addition to managing people, they will contribute their professional expertise to support decision-making and continuous improvement


About you

  • The successful candidate will be highly experienced in delivering Facilities Management services within a large organisation.
  • You will have excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships.
  • Experience of managing contracts and budget responsibility.
  • Working within a team and under your own initiative is essential.
  • You will be qualified to at least NVQ level 3 FM (or a similar discipline)
  • With a minimum 2 years management experience.
